The Vasa
This was a giant warship designed for Swedish King Gustavus Adolphus's Navy.But it foundered and sank on its maiden voyage in 1628 just outside the harbour of Sweden’s capital Stockholm.
The ship never reached Poland where the king was in midst of a war. The Vasa remained there till 1961 when she was moved to a museaum at the Vasa Shipyard .Ever since she was raised 29 million people have visited this ship .
