The MV Le Joola
Just like Dona Paz the Le Joola was a ferry owned and operated by Armed forces of Senegal .Same way it was severely overcrowded when she sank.There were 2000 passengers at time of sinking which was three times the ship’s capacity.
The exact number of casualties is unknown since many people did not have tickets.After Dona Paz ,Le Joola was the second worst maritime disaster.
