Himalayan Blunder
Brigadier John Dalvi had written a book named Himalayan Blunder in which he had mentioned the mistakes Nehru had made while handling the Indo China war. How could the Government let the cat out of the bag? The book was banned promptly.
Kurt Feschler’s book Ayesha was banned from publishing a formal gazette notification. Same way Desmond Stewart’s book “Early Islam” spoke about Muslims and hence was banned in the country.
