COVID19
COVID19 stands for corona virus desease 2019. Corona virus are actually very common class of viruses. However the specific COVID19 virus is something we are seeing for the first time. Most viruses in last 50 years have come from bats. Germany, India, Middle East, Australia all have seen transmission of new viruses from bats to humans. COVID19 has come to humans from bats and pangolin animals.
COVID19 is rarely lethal which is a good thing. Unlike other deadly viruses such as HIV, corona does not kill humans most of the times. In fact most humans will not even see any symptoms. However humans with compromised immunity, too old people or very young people will suffer severe fever and difficulty in breathing and could die.
Lungs are typically first to get infected after which the virus may spread the infection to kidney, joints, intestines and liver.
