Dr Atanu Dey is an economist who focuses on India’s path to prosperity from under-development. In his book Transforming India and on his blogs, he explores how India can achieve its potential. Atanu attended IIT Kanpur, Rutgers University and received his PhD in economics from Univ. of California at Berkeley. As a Reuters Fellow at Stanford University he authored a model for rural economic growth called RISC. He works at Niti Digital in Mumbai and lives in the San Francisco Bay area.
