<p dir="ltr">One day Tenali Raman came to the royal court in a very cheerful mood.<br>
He was dressed very well and wore bright, shiny jewels.<br>
King Krishnadeva Raya said, "Tenali you look happy today."<br>
Tenali Raman said,&#160; "your majesty everyone changes with time. And moreover I had saved much from the generous gifts you have given over the years to me."<br>
The king said, "Tenali, then you must build a luxurious house and gift it away. This act of yours will earn <u>you</u> happiness"<br>
Tenali agreed to the king words.&#160; within few months comma a grand house failed with all the luxuries was Built. All the people saw the luxurious house admired its beauty.<br>
Tenali Raman then Hung up board outside the house.It read, "this house is&#160; offered as a gift to a man who is happy and content with what he has."<br>
Many people who passed by the house read the board. But no one came to claim the house.<br>
Once a poor man was passing by. He read the board. He thought, "I don't understand why people do not claim&#160; the house. I will claim this house."<br>
He went to Tenali Raman and said, "Sir, I have read the board hung outside this great house. I want to claim it as I am happy and content man. I deserve this house."<br>
Hearing the poor man's words , Tenali Raman started laughing.&#160; he said, "as you say that you are happy and content man without this house, then why do you want to have it? Because you are content with what you have, then you don't deserve this house."<br>
The realised his folly and left.<br>
then Tenali Raman went to the royal court and told his tail to the king.<br>
The king said, "So <u>you</u> have once again shown your cleverness. Now you can yourself move into the house."<br>
"Thank you, your majesty," said Tenali Raman provide his intelligence once again.</p>
