Himalyan blunder by Brigadier John Dalvi

Himalyan blunder was a controversial war memoir written by Brigadier John Dalvi .Again it dealt with consequences and aftermath of the Sino-Indian War of 1962 in which India was defeated by China. Brigadier Dalvi served in the Indian Army and it gives a first person account of this war .The book was banned by the Indian Army soon after its publication.Because of this book the term “Himalayan blunder” began to be used as a synonym for failures in context of Indian politics.
